Since introducing a WAP site in 2004 to allow visitors to access certain information on their mobile phones or other mobile devices such as PDAs we have improved the site by linking directly to our database so that news and information on the line-ups for daily comedy guest shows will automatically be available on the mobile site at the same time it is available on the main site.

On the mobile site, you can get:

  • News
  • During Edinburgh Fringe:
    • Full list of performers at each Late Show, Spank!, Maxwell's FullMooners, Political Animal and other comedy guest shows
    • Details of all Underbelly shows

We hope to add more features over time. If there is other information you would like to see on the site, do send us feedback or contact us.

For those who are techically minded, we are have also updated the site from WAP 1.2 to WAP 2.0 to make it compatible with the latest generation of mobile phones. Unfortunately this does mean that if your phone does not support WAP 2.0, you will not be able to access the WAP site. However, a survey of our users suggested that those people likely to use the site were also those likely to have a modern mobile phone with WAP 2.0 support, such as the popular Sony Ericsson T610 and other similar phones.
