Scissor Sisters, Yoko Ono and The Gossip in Brighton Fringe
Last Thursday the UdderBELLY played host to the Scissor Sisters, Yoko Ono and band of the moment, The Gossip. Yoko Ono, Beth Ditto from The Gossip and Ana Matronic from Scissor Sisters were interviewed by Lauren Laverne & Steve Jones for T4 Tranmission. There were live performances from Cold War Kids, Bat for Lashes, Scissor Sisters, plus The Gossip performed a stunning set on an outside stage constructed around the fountain. The UdderBELLY was also a venue for the Great Escape music festival on Saturday, with bands British Sea Power, Tiny Dancers, Maps and The Sonic Hearts playing to packed crowds. (21 May 2007)

The cow is galloping towards the final furlong of the Brighton Fringe Festival. The final week of the Festival is here, so get down to the Pasture at the Old Steine near Brighton's seafront for a final fling, before our last day on Bank Holiday Monday 28th May. The Yarnbards
Godfather of improv Richard Vranch brings his new comedy troupe to Brighton. Improv show suitable for everyone, from kids to adults. Sat 26th May 1pm

Thought-provoking theatre featuring music from Dominic Nunn (Stomp), Eddie Myer (Turin Brakes) and Tristan Banks (Massive Attack & The Bays). Tues - Sat (not Thurs) 7pm
The Festival Club
From 10.30pm every night. Join us on Thursday to Rock'n'Roll with the Double Six Club, Fridays for the fantastic cabaret of Voodoo Vaudeville, and Saturday for the Hill-Billy Village Disco.
Stewart Lee announces EXTRA DATE in Brighton

UdderBELLY will be grazing on Old Steine in May
This May the UdderBELLY is making its first journey into England to be a major venue for the Brighton Festival Fringe. Situated on Old Steine, the former site of the Spiegeltent, we will transform it into a huge pasture of fun with 2 bars open from 12pm till late each day. We have an exciting programme with resident artists the Caesar Twins performing daily and an eclectic programme of comedy, theatre, music and chidrens’ shows as well as being the new home for the Festival Club from 10.30pm nightly.
