Directions
Underbelly, Cowgate
From the Fringe Office on the Royal Mile:
- Walk up the hill towards the castle until you reach the main crossroads.
- Turn left onto George IV Bridge Street.
- Turn right into Victoria Street and our top entrance is the first door on the left.
- If you carry on down Victoria Street, you reach the Grassmarket.
- Turn left at the bottom into Cowgate.
- The main entrance is on the left just before you go under George IV Bridge.
Underbelly's Baby Belly, Niddry St
Niddry Street runs off Cowgate just a two minute walk down the road from the Smirnoff Underbelly.
From Underbelly, Cowgate:
- Turn left out of the main entrance to Smirnoff Underbelly and walk down Cowgate until you pass under South Bridge.
- Niddry St South is the first turn on the right after South Bridge.
From the Fringe Office:
- Walk down the hill towards Holyrood
- Cross over North Bridge Street and take the next turn on the right, next to the Radisson SAS Hotel, which is Niddry St North
- Walk down the hill to Cowgate at the bottom and Niddry Street South is directly opposite on the other side of Cowgate.
E4 UdderBELLY's Pasture, Bristo Square
Bristo Square is located in Old Town, near the Meadows and is also the location of the Gilded Balloon and Pleasance Dome and is very close to George Square, home to the Spiegaltent and George Square Theatre.
From the Fringe Office:
- On the Royal Mile, walk up the hill towards the castle
- Turn left onto George IV Bridge Street
- Cross over the bridge and pass Chambers Street to your left.
- Keep left at the fork with Bedlam Theatre to your right.
- Bristo Square is directly ahead, cross over Teviot Place and enter The Pasture
- Cow Barn (Reid Hall) and Daisy Cow are just off the right-hand side of Bristo Square, between McEwan Hall and Teviot House (Gilded Balloon)
From Underbelly, Cowgate:
- Turn right out of the main entrance towards Grassmarket
- Take the first left up the hill (Candlemaker Row) to join George IV Bridge Street
- Cross over the road and continue on George IV Bridge Street, keeping left at the fork with Bedlam Theatre to your right.
- Bristo Square is directly ahead, cross over Teviot Place and enter The Pasture
- Cow Barn (Reid Hall) is just off the right-hand side of Bristo Square, between McEwan Hall and Teviot House (Gilded Balloon)
