Three Weeks
Being a Canadian residing in Devon may not be the ideal background for a comic seeking to endear himself to the Edinburgh faithful. As unlikely as it may seem, however, by the end of the night he had whipped up a proper storm, especially with the locals. The show started in relaxed fashion, with Campbell striking an amusing repartee with crowd members, before coming into his own as he educated the audience of the trials and tribulations of being a Canadian in a foreign land. Mixing these cautionary tales with superb comedic timing and a brash, yet at times self-deprecating nature, this "moose-fucker" certainly did himself and his country proud. A top class comedian at the top of his game.
