About Jackson's Way

I can't go too much into my work here but, in brief, it centres around the systematic repitition of pointless acts. An example of this would be moving fur cones around in a wood or taking a handful of gravel home, drilling holes through each individual piece and then threading them onto some thread to make a gravel chain. (The work wouldn't be complete though till you had taken the gravel chain back to where you picked up the gravel and leaving it there. Imagine what someone would think if they found it!)

This is the kind or area I work in and here are some of the things I know JW can do:

  • Solve 3/4 of your problems which aren't necessarily financial
  • 'Jackson' negative thoughts to make them warmer and greener
  • Solve the equation 'love / property x money' to leave you holding all the aces!
  • Just come please

But don't take my word for it - here's some reaction, both from workshop attendees and professional writers:

"Good, thorough, it had a refreshing feel to it"

"I can do it, it's surprisingly simple"

"I'll tell my friend Charles who tried to kill himself"

Winner, Perrier Comedy Award 2004

"Thrillingly, inventively, hilariously odd.... I entered the room agnostic and left it a froth-mouthed convert" The Times

"It's a satire on 21st century credulity. And it's the Fringe's most exciting new comedy act" The Guardian

"This show is more than comedy. It plays with your intellect as well as your sense of humour.... Jackson's Way is simply the best, funniest, cleverest miracle of make believe" The Scotsman
