Hello cow fans!

Welcome to Underbelly's Fringe 2009!

In our 10th Birthday year we have a programme jam packed with superb entertainment. The likes of Julian Clary, Reginald D Hunter, Rhys Darby (Murray from Flight of the Concords), Pete Firman and Jim Jeffries grace our comedy programme, alongside new faces of the future including Carl Donnelly, Gerry Howell, Jollie, Frisky & Mannish and Susan Calman. Add to this the wonderful  Denise Van Outen making her Fringe debut and a return to the Fringe for Tom Tom Crew and the Magnets, as well as stacks of new writing and new talent.

There are a number of exciting developments at the Belly this year. Firstly, we're offering £6.50 tickets on Mondays and Tuesdays to nearly all our shows in Underbelly, Cowgate. Udderly affordable, early in the week entertainment. No excuse to not explore the wonderful variety of our programme and take a chance on some new shows and new talent .... as always, we have lots of this. It's what the Fringe is about and it's what Underbelly has always offered.  

We're delighted to be running George Square Gardens this year and introducing Underbelly's Hullaballoo to Edinburgh. Expect chilled out luxury under the trees and a cracking programme - from Mervyn Stutter's Pick of the Fringe to our last show of the day, The Crow Bar, where you can huddle around the piano and sing show songs into the night. And, of course, we're bringing Silent Disco back to the awesome McEwan Hall - the most original night out at the festival. 

On this bovine's birthday we'll be partying like only a cow knows how, and you're invited! Follow the cow!
