The Udderbelly structure is available for hire between September and July in every year. To call the Udderbelly a tent does it an injustice. It is a modern temporary structure custom built using the latest technology to provide a robust, attractive and unique space for a whole range of uses. It has been designed to create a 400 seat venue with raked seating arranged in a horseshoe shape around a large flat stage. However, it can also be supplied with a flat floor for flexible seating/table arrangements in any configuration.

Sample uses

For example, the structure could be used with raked seating for presentations, product launches, seminars, demonstrations, lectures, shows etc for up to 400 people. It could be used with banquet-style tables to host a dinner for 200 people with a dance-floor and small stage for speeches, DJ etc. Or it could be used simply as a space for up to 600 standing at a drinks party, product launch or demonstration event. Or the whole structure could be used as a stage for an outdoor concert/festival.

Structure

The struture is based around an aluminium truss frame that can be erected quickly and easily in relatively tight spaces. The frame is capable of carrying several tonnes of weight in lighting and sound equipment for all types of events, including the most demanding concert/festival uses.

The covering uses modern synthetic materials that are light and strong. The structure can be erected with walls on all sides, or with one side open and with or without an arched canopy over one side. It comes in plain white/silver or in the Underbelly purple colour, with or without the extra legs, head and udders!
