                        Onsite from Thursday 30 June – Sunday 3 July

Rate:                £250/day

Location:          Remote / London

 

Pride in London is the UK’s biggest, most diverse pride, providing a platform for every part of London’s LGBT+ communities to raise awareness of LGBT+ issues and campaign for the freedoms that will allow them to live their lives on a genuinely equal footing.

Pride has contracted Underbelly Ltd, a UK company that specialises in festivals and outdoor events, as the over-arching producer for the Event with responsibilities including event design and production, event infrastructure, health & safety, crowd safety, security/stewarding and traffic management.

About this Role:
This role will see you work across the site and production elements of Pride in London on Saturday 2 July, which comprise Parade, concert in Trafalgar Square and street party across Soho.

The job will include (but will not be limited to):
• Procurement of infrastructure and equipment – ensuring best value.
• Contractor management – supporting requirements whilst ensuring on site timescales are met.
• Budget management – effective management of the production budget ensuring strict cost control.
• Stakeholder liaison – engaging with WCC across a range of services.
• Scheduling and logistics – working to streamline and improve efficiency, coordinating suppliers and deliveries.

Personal Specification
• A sound understanding of technical production (lighting, sound and staging) as well as site infrastructure, including power supply and distribution.
• Minimum five years’ experience working in a similar role at large-scale live events/festivals.
• Experience of creating drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD or Vectorworks).
• Excellent planning and communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot production difficulties or problems.
• Ability to act decisively under pressure.
• Ability to supervise and delegate.
