UNDERBELLY FESTIVAL TO RETURN TO LONDON THIS SUMMER

World-class entertainment, street food and bars will be on offer across two ‘udderly’ brilliant sites, Cavendish Square and Earls Court

Underbelly has today announced Underbelly Festival, a feast of top-quality live entertainment, amazing outdoor bars and premium street food, is set to return to London this Summer.

The capital’s original pop-up festival will offer a double dose of live entertainment and laughter across two brilliant spots: Earls Court and Cavendish Square.

Planning applications for both festival sites have been submitted by Underbelly this week.

Earls Court

After last year’s smash-hit London Wonderground festival, the iconic Upside Down Purple Cow, Udderbelly, will return to Earls Court offering comedy-lovers shows from the most LOL-worthy names alongside jaw-dropping circus acts, shows for all the family to enjoy and beautiful outdoor bars and street food. Underbelly Festival Earls Court is in partnership with Earls Court Development Company, located on the site of the historic Earls Court 2 Exhibition Centre.

Cavendish Square

In the heart of the west end and Oxford Street District, Underbelly Festival’s famous Spiegeltent will once again take up residence in Cavendish Square. This festival location will serve up another helping of superb cabaret, comedy, and family shows.

Underbelly Festival’s full line-up of shows in each location will be released in mid-March. Sign up to be the first to hear – underbellyfestival.co.uk.

Ed Bartlam and Charlie Wood, Underbelly co-directors, said: “We can’t wait to be back in London with a bang this Summer, offering double the festival fun across two fantastic locations.

“In true Underbelly style, our venues will bring together comedy legends, the world’s best variety, circus and cabaret acts with top-notch food and drink for a festival like no other – there will be something for everyone!”

Underbelly Festival’s summer events are running at Earls Court from 5th May – 16th July and at Cavendish Square from 28th April – 31st July.
