Underbelly are looking for a Duty Site Manager to work at Macbeth The Show during its run at The Depot, Liverpool in November and December 2023.

Ralph Fiennes and Indira Varma star in William Shakespeare’s Macbeth, directed by Simon Godwin with set and costume design by Frankie Bradshaw.

This brand-new production of one of Shakespeare’s most iconic plays will be staged like never before in custom built theatre spaces unique to this production in Liverpool, Edinburgh, London and Washington DC.


Role

  • Overseeing day to day operations of the venue/site, attending to issues and situations as they arise.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of the venue including power, water and internet supplies.
  • Maintaining high standards of both employee and public safety whilst complying with licensing requirements.
  • Representing Underbelly to clients (both public and performance related) as well council officers, blue light agencies and other visitors.

Person Specification

  • Proven site and/or venue management background, with experience of multi-venue and festival sites an advantage.
  • Good working knowledge of health and safety in an events environment.
  • Ability to create a positive work atmosphere.
  • Excellent leadership skills.
  • Excellent team work skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills.
  • Excellent communication  and motivational skills.
  • Basic knowledge of temporary electrical systems.
  • Personal Licence holder (desirable).
